Dr. Christopher Chan is a native of North County San Diego, where he grew up surfing the beaches of Oceanside and Carlsbad. He majored in biophysiology while playing collegiate ice hockey at California State University of Long Beach. Following college, he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Loma Linda University. To further advance his training and expertise, he completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at UCSF Fresno. During his time there, he received broad scope training in all aspects of the specialty.

Dr. Chan brings to the NCOFSC team a doctor who is dedicated to serving his patients with optimal treatment and care. His clinical interests and expertise include general anesthesia, maxillofacial pathology, corrective jaw surgery, dentoalveolar surgery (including wisdom tooth removal), dental implants, and facial trauma reconstruction.

Throughout his years of training, Dr. Chan actively participated and remained committed to serving both local and international communities through dental mission trips. Today, Dr. Chan is dedicated to continuing that excellence in service to the people of North County San Diego. He looks forward to providing exceptional dental care to his patients and putting them at ease when they need to see an oral surgeon.

In his spare time, Dr. Chan enjoys being with his family and fiancé, Grace. He and Grace enjoy exploring new restaurants and finding the tastiest foods in town. His hobbies are photography, rock climbing, and being outdoors with family and friends. During his residency, he started up cycling and is planning to do a triathlon soon!
