Dr. Soelberg was born in Orange County and raised in the Mountain West. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in public health from Brigham Young University, after which he completed a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Loma Linda University, where he graduated first in his class. He then embarked on his surgical training at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, where he completed his general surgery and general anesthesia training. Dr. Soelberg then completed his oral & maxillofacial surgery residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he received comprehensive training in surgical procedures involving the head, face, mouth and neck. He has conducted research and given several scientific lectures and presentations. Dr. Soelberg is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and his clinical interests include corrective jaw surgery, wisdom teeth removal and dental implantology, facial trauma reconstruction, obstructive sleep apnea surgery, nerve repair, cleft palate surgery and treatment of jaw tumors and cysts. He feels privileged and honored to be able to serve the residents of San Diego County.
