Why our Joint Commission accreditation is important to you.
If you are not familiar with The Joint Commission, they are the main certifying agency for healthcare organizations in the United States.
What does this mean to you? The Joint Commission accreditation is an arduous process that evaluates every facet of our surgery center. Their standards focus on the steps we take to protect your safety and the quality of the care we provide to you as a patient. In fact to gain the accreditation we must meet or exceed more than 150 of these standards.
Our goal for maintaining our Joint Commission accreditation is to give you one more reason to feel confident in the quality of care you will receive when you are here.
North County Oral & Facial Surgery Center has been a Joint Commission accredited healthcare organization since 2002. We are proud to have been one of the first oral and maxillofacial surgery centers in the country to achieve The Joint Commission accreditation.
