Tooth Extractions

When a tooth is decayed or damaged to the point it can’t be saved or threatens to cause more serious problems to surrounding teeth, you may need to have it surgically removed. For single or less complicated extractions, the procedure can be done under local anesthesia or with nitrous oxide. We recommend intravenous (IV) sedation for more complicated procedures, such as the removal of an impacted tooth or multiple teeth.

Most single tooth extractions can be completed comfortably in under an hour and you will be released with post-operative instructions and medication to help manage any swelling or discomfort.
